TORONTO, August 9, 2011 – When the golf season ends this year, golf professionals from the PGA of Canada will have a new way to demonstrate their numerous skill sets and enhance their off-season employment opportunities between the months of November and April. Randstad Canada, the country’s leader in staffing, recruitment and HR services, and the PGA of Canada have formed a partnership to create the Randstad PGA of Canada Seasonal Career Development Program.
As part of this valuable partnership with Randstad Canada, members of the PGA of Canada will receive personalized assistance in seeking seasonal and temporary employment, and access to Randstad’s network of over 5000 employers and job opportunities.
Randstad Canada is proud to be a part of this special program. “We are excited about the opportunity to use our expertise to help match these talented individuals with top Canadian organizations,” says Stacy Parker, Executive VP of Marketing at Randstad Canada.
Seasonal job placements will be presented to PGA of Canada members across Canada, based on Randstad's globally recognized “Job Fit, Boss Fit, Career Fit” matching and screening process. “Our experienced and knowledgeable consultants from across the country will seek out employment opportunities that speak to the strengths, skills and passions of each jobseeker,” says Parker.
Randstad Canada will also work with members to enable them to communicate and leverage their unique experience and skills to the business world. Career coaching, resume development and workshops and seminars will also be offered.
